Snake Skins, have you heard of them yet?

They are pretty ingenious little add ons to any hammock camping system.  If I'm not mistaken I believe they were created by Hennessy Hammocks and they are worth the few ounces they add to your pack.  Snake Skins are a tapering tube that you place over your rain fly and hammock.  When installing them you simply roll them up like you were putting a pair of pants on your baby and insert either your hammock hanging gear through each end and that is it.  The larger end toward the middle and the tapering end away from the middle.  With the ends attached to a tree, all you have to do is grab the Snake Skin and pull it toward the middle of the Rain Fly or Hammock.  That's it, the tapered end constricts around the material and provides a snug fit and full protection for your gear.  Below are pictures of the Snake Skins placed around my rain fly and the other with them still attached while I am setting them up.  The video demonstrates the simple set up and take down.  So there you have it, hope all your questions have been answered.  These get a big thumbs up in my book and for the money you can't beat them.  Check out the link above and get yourself a pair, you will be glad that you did.
